My version of French toasts (a bit contry-style)

10 slices white bread or brioche

750 ml full-fat milk

3 tbsp caster sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Vanilla extract

1 egg beaten

Arrange the slices of bread in a bowl. Mix milk, sugar, cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture over the bread. Leave for 10 minutes.

Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan, take sclices of coated bread and fry on both sides until golden (2 minutes each side).

Drain the slices on kitchen paper, and enjoy while still warm with any jam you like, fresh berries, honey or maple syrup.
