My version of French toasts (a bit contry-style)

8-10 slices 2-3 day old white bread

750 ml full-fat milk

3 tbsp caster sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

2 eggs beaten

Arrange the slices of bread in a bowl. Mix milk, sugar, cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture over the bread. Leave for 15 minutes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, take sclices of coated bread and fry on both sides until golden.

Drain the slices on kitchen paper, and enjoy while still warm with any jam you like, honey or maple syrup.
