Simple chocolate cake

• 180 g soften unsalted butter

• 130g plain flour

• 180g soft light brown sugar

• 3 large eggs

• 60g cocoa powder

• 1/2 tsp baking powder

• 20 ml milk

Oven-170 C. Preheat. Using a mixer whisk butter and sugar together until pale. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition.

Sift together flour, cocoa and baking powder. Add dry ingredients and milk to batter. Mix well on a low speed. Once everything is mixes-increase the speed medium-to-high. Pour the mixture into the prepared greased tin. Place in the oven, bake for 40 minutes.
